Muxingye Chen is a Chinese new media artist currently based in Rotterdam, whose work critically reflects on the impact of digital art on cultural identity and physical nomadism. His artistic practice seeks to explore the intersection of technology, art, and cultural traditions.


My artistic practice involves an expansive exploration that integrates various artistic mediums, including experimental film, computer-generated imagery, 3D scanning/modeling, field recording, and performance. This interdisciplinary approach is aimed at creating immersive experiences that deeply engage with objects, body, time, and space, eliciting both intellectual and emotional responses from the audience. I approach my artistic expression through two significant modes: individual practice and collaborative work. Both are pivotal in my creative process, aiding me in delving into philosophical and research based dimensions of my practice. Additionally, my active participation in art and cultural events plays a crucial role in presenting my artistic outcomes to the public. I engage in diverse forms of presentation such as video installations, audio-visual performances, experimental film screenings, and workshops within contemporary art spaces, art events, and cultural centers.




陈牧星野，视觉艺术工作者，本科毕业于荷兰密涅瓦艺术学院的时间艺术系，研究生毕业于Piet Zwart Art institute 的实验影像系。现居于荷兰鹿特丹。他专注于解构时间与空间在不同语境下的状态，通过3D影像媒介去表达语言被消亡之后的画面和人与现实的虚拟关系。
